Finally they walk to Mrs ShinDae Mini Market to buy the ingredients for their menu that night. Junho took so many stuff. May was surprised. All of it cost about 20,000won. Junho pay all  the groceries that they bought. He even bought some kimchi too. It was a lot.

He is seriously into this dinner thing. I bet he miss omma so much. What is he going to cook for tonight?

‘knock knock’

“omma you there? Look who I brought with today! Your favorite boy! “

Mrs Jang opened the door.

“omma, remember me?” posing his aegyeo face.

“OMO ! Junho, my adeul! Come give omma a hug!”

Junho ran up the stairs and gave Mrs Jang a hug. He loved Mrs Jang just the way he loves his mother. Junho’s mother died when he was 5 years old and his father left him ever since he was a baby. Never knew where he went. Since that day, Junho lived with his aunt. Although he is rich, he never liked staying with his aunt. She is too busy, never had the time to spend time with him. Junho kept brought up the same statement, “it will just be the same if I stay at my old house and I prefer it that way, rather than staying with my aunt in that empty house. But the best place to be is staying with omma and you right here. I miss you both!” Junho hugged May and omma very tight.

*cough cough*

“okay, done with this sentimental session, let’s cook Junho,”

“cook? Chincha? I miss your cooking adeul. Next time come more often to our house so I can rest a bit more. Hehe,”

“of course I will omma, you can relax from cooking. Hehe. But I miss your Barbecued sliced meat,”

“why didn’t you say so? I have some 15 extra slced meat in the freezer. We can add to ur menu tonight,”

“that would be great!”

“haha Junho is the one who supposed to be excited. You already eat barbecued sliced meat last week right?”

“but it is so delicious omma, I can eat it every day. Hehe,”

“don’t you dare little girl, or you’ll be fat like a tuedji, hahahahha,”

Everyone laughed including may. She don’ want to be fat, especially not like a tuedji. NOOOO!

AT THE KITCHEN

May and Junho will be cooking today. Mrs Jang rest herself by watching the television. May is making the kimchi stew and Junho is making the kimbap. While May cutting the kimchi, Junho slowly came from the back and close May’s eyes with his hand.

“junho, what’s going on?”

“Shhh, just promise me you will eat what I prepare for you here, arasso?”

“aigooo~ what is it? Please no funny thing. I want to eat tonight’s dinner with a happy tummy,”

“no, can’t tell. Once I open your eyes, you must eat it okay?”

“okayyyy,” *nervous*

Junho removed his hand and “TADAAA~~~!”

It was a cute kimbap with a shape of a panda in the middle. May shouted “KYAAAA~!” and hugged Junho. She agreed to eat it. Junho feed her with his own hands. May didn’t care about what’s the ingredient. As long as it is delicious she’s happy. 30 minutes passed, finally all of the foods are ready. May set the table with 3 bowl, 3 pairs of Korean chopsticks, 3 Korean spoons and the food. Junho bring out the marinated sliced meat from the chiller. The table is all set to eat. May went to call omma.

“wow, is this chuseok day or what? There’s too many to eat! Thank you my dear darlings,”

“you’re welcome omma,” *both answered*

“let’s EAT!!!!! I’m hungry! HAHA” shouted omma.

They enjoyed the dinner with laughter. Junho missed the moments he spent with May, Omma and his mother before. He wished that he could meet his biological dad to complete the memories. But it was all left with hope that someday he will come back to his son.

After eating they rest for a while. It was Music Bank and Orange Caramel performed . Junho and May dance to the song. Junho even wear May’s ribbon scarf. Mrs Jang was sitting and clapped hands to the music. She couldn’t stop laughing looking at her two kids.

“hey let’s norae norae!” say May.

“Yeay! I’ll go and take the Karaoke CD’s.” Junho already know where they put the old and new CD’s.

“I’ll get the tambourine and furry scarf, wait yea omma, hehhe”

Omma was setting up the Karaoke machine for us. It was 10PM, omma was already sleepy. She left us to Noraebang.

“where’s omma?” asked Junho.

‘BEEP BEEP’ *May’s handphone*

A TEXT FROM OMMA : ‘kids, I’m off to bed. Have fun norae norae, but not too noisy or I’ll get you! XOXO

“aigoo~ I thought omma will join us. I even took her pom poms. Well it’s just me and you then. What song are we going to sing?”

“what type of songs do u want? Trot? Ballad? “

“mhmm we will start with Trot then Ballad okay?”

“okay, Super Junior – Rokkugo ?

“yes! Put it on quick!”

They dance and sing the night with their pom poms, tambourine and fluffy scarf. Then it was time for ballad songs. May was sleepy but Junho asked her to listen him singing. May nodded and sat on the couch. Junho choose a song from K.Will – Dream.

And yes, as we expected, May slept. Junho kept singing and pretend that May is still awake. May was also pretending that she was asleep. She never thought Junho was a good singer. She kept on pretending until she slept for real. After finish that song, Junho switched off all the appliances and sat next to May. He put May’s head on his lap and tap her on the shoulder.  He finally fell asleep too.

THE NEXT DAY

“May wake up, let’s go shopping. I want to buy something for halmoni. Next week is her birthday,”

“uh? Now? But it’s only…… *looking at the clock* 12pm? WHY DIDN’T YOU WAKE ME UP EARLIER?”

 *combing her hair with her fingers*

“I thought you were tired, so I let you sleep the half day. So now you can’t make excuses that you won’t escort me to the Mall,” making his macho face.

“alright then, give me 10minutes,”

“okay, only 10minutes yea? If more than that you have to buy me a new T-shirt, HAHA,”

“you’re rich, you’re afford to buy 10 branded tuxedo if you want to, don’t need to ask from me, kekekke~” walking herself to the toilet,”

“I know I could afford it but it’s a punishment for you, GO GO and get ready. I’ll set the time from….. NOW!”

May closed the toilet door quickly and took her fast and furious shower. Junho walk around May’s room and saw the ‘We Need Chemistry To Love’ book. He smiled and took it. He walked down the stairs and saw omma watching the TV. After giving omma a kiss o the cheek, he sat beside her on the couch.

“omma, can I bring May to the Mall today? Want to buy halmoni’s birthday present,”

“oh, sure. When is halmoni’s birthday? By the way, what are you doing with May’s book?”

“Oh this? Shhh, Just wanna play jokes on her .it’s on this coming Monday. I’ve prepared a dinner at the Marriot Hotel for the 4 of us. What do you think omma? Great huh?,”

“do you mean omma and May will join you guys?”

“yup!”

“thank you for inviting us but…….. of course we will join! Hehehe,”

“omma you almost made me cy just now,”

“sorry my adeul. Okay you can bring may but remember not to let her buy too many junks. Arachi?”

“arassoyo omma,”

Junho got up and went to his KIA Sorento that his driver sent this morning. It’s already 9:30 minutes and still ticking. Junho opened the Chemistry book and saw the MOGOBOY note and smiled.

‘Knock Knock’

It was May knocking Junho’s window. Junho merong~ed her. She saw Junho holding the Chemistry book. Her face went red and made her way, stumping the ground to the passenger seat. Junho was afraid and put the book at the back seat pretending he did nothing. When May sat next to him she didn’t ask anything but twisted Junho’s ear. Pulling it back and forth. Junho shouted as loud as he can.

“help me someone! The LION is back!”

“what did you called me? LION?” she pulled junho’s ear even harder.

“NO, No. not you. I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Please stop it. It hurts!”

May let go of Junho’s ear and make her self quiet. Junho felt guilty for taking her book without permission. He didn’t know that the book was that personal to her. He didn’t say a word about the deal. Afraid that May will continue not to talk to him until God knows when. Junho drive them to the mall. on the way there, he played Super Junior T’s CD. May remembered their noraebang yesterday and smiled to the window. Junho noticed she smiled and tickeled her on the waist. May laughed and she was happy once again.
