The Roses

Kyuhyun wakes up, he feels pain in all over his body, feeling like thousand of needles on his skin. Again he sees the vase beside him first, although he got many flowers when he hospitalizes but this vase is very weird. Suddenly a nurse comes in into his room.
“ oh…you are a wake, Kyuhyun ssi. Good morning…” she greeted him with a smile. The nurse looks so innocent; Kyuhyun always feel like being treat by a noona when she’s around. He feels more comfortable to chitchatting with her.
“ye…” Kyuhyun just answered her in short but friendly way.
“the doctor will come to check you again in this afternoon” She’s smile like an angel. Kyuhyun feel so close with her. He gain his courage and shot this line;
‘noona, I want to ask you about this long time ago..” Kyuhyun stopped and the nurse make a ‘’what?’ look.
“why in this vase there are some roses had wilt and some other still fresh??” Kyuhyun sound like that vase really makes him confuse, no need to know that. Not really important but somehow he wanted to know.
“oh…each of those roses not come in a same day..” She said, but that makes Kyuhyun even confuse.
“huh?? What does it mean??” He asked.
“the girl who sent you those roses will come to put only one flower every day.” She explain to him and smile.
“so...that means she comes to see me everyday??” Kyuhyun makes a ‘unbelievable’ face…but he knew that this nurse wont lied to him.
“yeah..” She answered him with confidences. It’s true that he received a flower a day, she’s not lying.
“why im never see her before?? Kyuhyun asked again, he feels weird; how did she get in here? It isn’t really easy to come in Kyuhyun’s room.
“maybe you are sleeping when she came. Sometimes she asked me or other staff to put it for her if she can’t make it.” She kindly explained again to Kyuhyun.
“oh...really??” Kyuhyun agreed, maybe that’s a good answered. And nurse just nods.
“noona, gamsahamnida.” Kyuhyun said, at least he got some info now.

“a rose a day??” Ryeowook asked, disbelieve. His eyes balls are about to pop out.
“if we count this…” yesung stops a while and count the flowers in the vase. And continue..
“she keep coming here since the first day you been hospitalized and you don’t even awake yet that time.” Yesung having his disbelieve with it. How can she manage to come in Kyuhyun room’s everyday without getting caught by anybody.??
“ wah…who is it?? Stalker?? Sasaeng?” Disbelieve changed to curiosity when he find that this might be one entertainment for Kyuhyun who is so bored staying in the hospital alone. Mission; Agent Kyuhyun to catch the rose girl.
“I don’t know..hyung, did you ever saw someone put the roses in this vase??” Kyuhyun asked him..his eyes are full with fired, want to know who she is.
“if I know who it is, I don’t ask you.” Ryeowook replied him.
“hey, we are not so often here.” Yesung continue, that’s true..since they are not busy with filming the Super junior first movie, its shame that Kyuhyun can’t join but he’s still happy for them.
“yeah…” Ryeowook showed that he agreed with yesung. Yesung spacing out for a while and Kyuhyun nudged him and make a ‘what are you thinking’ face.
“I was wondering how can she get to come here everyday??” Yesung said.
“without being caught” Ryeowook added.
“wae yo??” kyuhyun asked.
“because except for nurse, doctor, super junior, manager, others are not allowed to come in here. how she came in??” Yesung shot that question. That makes them thinking..
“yeah….could be nurse? Or..doctor?” Ryeowook said..
“hm...i never thought about that before.” Kyuhyun said..
“she’s must be someone staff here.” Yesung said with confident. There’s no way for a normal people or fans to come in here without permission.
“but one of nurse here said that sometimes she will ask her or other staff to put the rose here if she can’t make it. If she is staff here, why need her ask somebody to do it for her.” Kyuhyun said…looking into yesung eyes demand for an explanation.
“if that so, she must be someone that really close to the staff here..” Ryeowook said..as he stop Yesung continue..
“maybe a she’s also like you..staying at hospital” and kyuhyun just nods as he agreed with yesung’s idea. But who is she..the question remained unanswered.
That how the K.R.Y close the conversation about the mystery girl.

Kyuhyun saw a figure of a girl, she is not wearing the same uniform as him she’s also not wearing a staff uniform but she wearing a school uniform. Kyuhyun can’t see her clearly; he can’t open his mouth to approach her because he is too tired and sleepy. The girl put a pink rose in the vase..
“get well soon….” That girl said in a very low voice. She’s just left after that, but she doesn’t know that kyuhyun had seen her. She walks away and enters a room with a smile.
“oppa, I go back home with you today.” The girl said to a guy with white medical coat.
“Choi Seohee, you don’t have to tell me, I knew already.” Dr. Choi said and his lips put on a smirk. Seohee just walks and sits down at the sofa there, ignoring the smirk.
“seohee ah, when you will stop send the rose?? What you get from him??” Dr.Choi asked her. She’s just pout to her brother.
“I just want him get well soon.” Seohee said.
“but those roses will only help a bit his in psychology.” Dr. Choi told his sister.
“but, at least he will know that there’s someone that give him a support.” Seohee not giving up.
“but it’s not help so much..” Dr. Choi disagree with her, another but pop up in his line.
“liar!! He recovered very fast right…faster than expected…” Seohee continue to cut her brother’s lines
“that because of me…the doctor. Not because of your ‘ a rose a day’ support, there’s nothing special..” It’s so unexpected. Seohee almost throw her shoes to her brother head, but she’s remembered that she’s going to ride his car to go home..or she’s have to take public transport.
“haish….” And Seohee released a sigh as she know she have to give in.
“I wonder why you really like him?? He’s not so handsome, you should find better then him. Someone good looking like me…” Dr. Choi said while hang his white coat in his wardrobe, he’s ready to go home. Buueek!!...Seohee makes a sound.

Seohee is a very cute girl, she’s really active and cheerful girl. Most of the staff at the hospital knew her because she is the younger sister of a famous doctor at the hospital. Moreover she comes to the hospital very often as a volunteer there that why sometime she will become a postman (sending love letter) to some unnie (nurse) there who would like to tackle her brother. Dr. choi very popular in the hospital because he really handsome, he also popular because he’s a great doctor although he is still young. As usual, Seohee attempt to put another rose, she slowly open the door take a peep of Kyuhyun’s room and she saw kyuhyun sitting on his bed so she can’t make it…so she just go to see her brother..
“ hey…mission failed??” asked Dr. choi once he saw a rose in his sister’s hand. Seohee pouted at him.
“he’s not sleeping today…” she’s pout more. She’s put her bag down and sit on the sofa in the room. Thinking how she’s gonna give that rose to him.
“why don’t you just go in.” Dr. Choi said. No…that’s not a good idea, she’s not ready yet.
“no way!! It’s not the time yet..oppa, you are not going back today right?” she’s thought of an idea. She had to do this..
“yeah…oh… please don’t ask me to do that again..” Dr. Choi refused even Seohee didn’t say it yet.
“oppa, please put it when he sleep…please…please please please” Seohee begging her brother, hoping that he will help her again.
“you know what happened when you ask me to put the rose last time?? It was a disaster. The crazy nurses chased me all around this hospital; they thought that I wanted to give it to them. Every single of them asking me about the rose, I can’t do my work as they were not concentrating in their work...it’s like gamble with human life when this thing happens again.” Dr. Choi said, as he looks at the medical report.
“ oppa please…this is the last time o.k??” Seohee still begging for it, she get up from the sofa and go to her oppa’s table and sit in front of him with her puppy eyes.
“ why don’t you ask nurse here, you are quite close to them.” He said while his hand closes the medical report, he looks into Seohee eyes.
“oppa, please…please…last time, majimag o.k??” Still not give up…she’s now grabbed her brother hands, blinking her eyes like innocent girl with an “I know you can do it” face.
“o.k..o.k..stop begging me..” Dr. Choi pull his hands back.
“oppa, gamsahamida…so that I can go back happily. So I go back first.” Seohee almost jumping happily after her brother give in. She slip the rose in the medical report and gets up.
“yes, please. You are so annoying…Seohee ah, please…” Dr. Choi said in irritated voice.
“I will tell mom that you are not going home” Dr. Choi continued, as he need to be in operation theatre for that night, so he’ll stay in hospital.
“araseo!!” Seohee answered while smiling all the way.
“walk safely~” Dr. Choi remind his sister. After that he released a sigh...he don’t want to do it but...she’s his dongsaeng anyways...his beloved sister.

“doc??” Kyuhyun’s mumbling in a shocking voice. He just saw that Dr. Choi put in the rose for today in the vase. Dr. Choi stops and turn to him and smile.
“I thought she will come …” Kyuhyun said. Dr. Choi be the as casual like possible, that how he treat Kyuhyun.
“you were waiting for her??” Dr. Choi asked him. Kyuhyun nods and continue..
“yeah…I bear with all those pain at my body to see her.” Kyuhyun said..
“because of that she not come in and I became an instant ‘postman’.” Dr. Choi chuckled, and smiles again. He’s not going to tell him who sends those roses to him as Seohee don’t wish to tell him right now.
“so...you are quite close to her?? Who is she…?” Kyuhyun asked him. And Dr. Choi chooses to tell lie to him.
“no…im not” He’s a very bad liar..
“it’s ok….no need to lie, if I can’t see her today I will wait for her again tomorrow, but please how close you both…don’t tell her.” Kyuhyun said to him as he understands that Dr. Choi don’t want to tell him her identity, and he’s respect him for that.
“o.k….if you make it tomorrow also don’t tell her that you catch me today..” Dr. Choi said in joke.
“don’t worry, gamsahamnida.” Kyuhyun said.
“don’t think about that more, please sleep...it’s really late..” Dr. Choi reminds him. And Kyuhyun got some chuckle on his face.
“now I feel like I talk to a doctor…thanks doc” he said.
“oh..just now..im not sound like a doctor? What am i?” Dr. Choi said.
“a flowerboy…aha…”
“rest well, im going to work..” he smiled and leave him alone. Kyuhyun go back to sleep as his planned fail completely.

Kyuhyun hope that he will get to see the girl today. Because he failed when he waited for her yesterday, he is going to pretending sleeping today. He lying on the bed and close his eyes, he waiting with patient heart. After 27 minutes as expected the girl come in the room at the same time as he saw her before. She come in carefully and put the rose carefully, she not making any single sound.
“get well soon..” she’s mumbled.
Seohee walks toward the door. But after that kyuhyun open his eyes….
“jankammanyo….” Kyuhyun said, he saw a high school student in front of him. He gets up and sits properly on his bed, but Seohee trying to run away from him. She’s trying to open the door; her hand is already on the doorknob.
“stop, don’t move forward or you will not see me anymore..” Kyuhyun said, there’s frighten tone in his words. Seohee change her mind, she’s released the doorknob but just standing there without looking at kyuhyun.
“turn…” Kyuhyun command her.
Seohee’s slowly turning back, her eyes straight to kyuhyun eyes. They just looking at each other for a few second, then kyuhyun are the one who speak out first.
“what are you doing there?? Come here…sit here..” Kyuhyun said in high tone. Acting like he’s pissed off but at the same time carrying act. Seohee walks to the chair beside kyuhyun bed, but she not sit yet. She was shock, she can’t say any words.
“please sit…” the atmosphere changed. Seems like act like mad isn’t a good way to deal with this girl by just looking at the way she’s walking.
“ye..gamsahamnida..” She said before sit on the chair. As she sit, she’s don’t dare to see Kyuhyun straight to his eyes. Her heart is pounding like mad, and she’s not sure whether Kyuhyun is mad at her actually. She’s looking on the ground.
“so...you are the real sender of those roses??” Kyuhyun said, he’s sound normal and don’t have mad tone in his voice anymore. But Seohee still refuse to see him, she’s just nod once.
“I just want to say thank you… thanks for your support…” Kyuhyun said again.
“ye…” Seohee said in shy tone, just a simple answer and she’s still don’t put up her head.
“but I want to ask you a favor… may i??” Kyuhyun asked her kindly. The conversation sound weird as only Kyuhyun said more than 2 words.
“yes..please..” Seohee answered, she’s so nervous.
“can you please accompany me tomorrow…tomorrow you are not going to school right??” Kyuhyun is trying to make this girl be friend with him because he’s lonely in the hospital alone. It’s not like his mother can be there 24/7 and Suju is busy with their filming, eeteuk can’t accompany him anymore.
“please don’t run away after you put the rose tomorrow, or not you will not allow to come here again…o.k??”
“ye…but why??” Seohee said…she can’t understand why he did that to her.
“at least I have someone to talk too…although you are not replying me back. Super junior are too busy now with the film they can’t come to see me always.. promise me you will come tomorrow..” Kyuhyun said as he wanting a pinky finger promise..and Seohee accept it.
“I promise” she said.

Without knocking the door Seohee come in the room.
“Seohee ah, why you come here?? Im busy, can’t you see??” Dr. Choi said. He’s really busy today, he got no time to chit chatting with her or worst help her to send the rose.
“oppa, can you please send me home??” ah~ great, she asked for more.
“I told you I busy. Seohee ah, if you don’t know way to go back home don’t come here again.” He said harshly, but Seohee doesn’t seem effected by that. He’s continuing looking at note on his white board and the x-ray reports.
“I can’t move my leg..” Seohee’s confess.
“what wrong with you??” he asked in uninterested tone.
“he was talking to me…” Seohee said…in nervous voice. While she’s moving to right and left…try to comforting her heart.
“nu gu??” He asked her in short, and still concentrate with his work.
“he ask me to come again tomorrow and accompany him..Oh My God!!” Seohee put her hand on her chest..can’t believe with what happen, her heart pounding more and more faster…its like a bout to explode.
“kyuhyun??” Dr. CHoi make a guess, and he’s writing something on the report book. buk!! He heard something…Seohee collapse…Dr. Choi shocked to see his sister is lying on the floor. He quickly gets up and go to his sister..
“Seohee?? Hey what happen to you?” he asked to the unmove body and his hand hitting her cheek. But she’s not moving..
“great, you pick the right place to faint!!” said and pick up his sister.

Dr. choi take kyuhyun’s health report…
“how you are you today??” he asked casually…he did it every day, Kyuhyun might annoyed it with it already.
“im great…I think I will can walk without help very soon.” Kyuhyun said. Atleast today he got something more to said instead of just saying that he’s fine, great, good, better…and so on..
“good, keep practicing.” Dr. Choi said and smile after signing on the repost and look at him into his eyes.
“but please don’t overdo it” he continued.
“thanks doc. doc, I had seen her….yesterday, now I wait for her…” kyuhyun said.
“yeah..i know, you know what because of you, she faints…because she too excited and happy. Luckily she faint in the hospital that her brother work.” Dr. Choi said. Kyuhyun shocked about what he just heard.
“omo…is she ok??” he shot the question.
“hm.. don’t worry, she’ totally fine..” Dr. Choi answered.
“wait, the hospital that her brother work?? You are her brother??” Kyuhyun asked with another shock expression on his face, his eyes wider now..and Dr. Choi nod.
“no wonder she can see me easily…I wonder how she came in…oh..so that why you come to put the rose that day..” Kyuhyun said nonstop. So..all the questions are answered already.
“yea….” Dr. Choi just admit it, now everything are fine to tell the truth..
“how is she?? Is she o.k??” He said in worried tone. Dr. Choi look at him ..
“how many time you want to ask me?? She’s o.k..don’t worry, you should think about yourself.” He said…and Kyuhyun speechless, he’s don’t understand whether he’s just worried about him or he’s worried about his sister be friend with kyuhyun..but Dr. Choi don’t think that way, he’s smile to Kyuhyun who confuse with his own assumption and leave the room to go to continue his works.

Seohee come in the kyuhyun’s room, kyuhyun was there…she come close to him and bow.
“anyeonghaseyo…” she greet her politely
“ah..anyeonghaseyo…” Kyuhyun just saw her. He smiles at her, happy that she’s remember that she’s promised to him. Seohee walk to the bed side and put another rose in the vase..she’s put another empty vase there, she change the wilted flowers to the empty glass vase and put new rose in the vase along with the roses that still looks fresh.
“I thought that you will not come…neol, gwenchanayo??” Kyuhyun asked her, since he knew she will not speak first. He know’s she wanted too but she will not start first.
“ye, im ok…” she said in confident, hoping that Kyuhyun will not worried of her, she was faint for some stupid reason, it’s quite embarrassing actually.
“really?? Are you o.k??” asked her again. Look at her face..and Seohee trun her head to see kyuhyun too as her hand finish with the works. Their eyes meet..
“ye…jamkanman…how oppa know that something had happened to me??” Seohee said. Kyuhyun don’t want to say that he got to know from her brother and in the end he lied…
“mmm…because…you face look like you are not feeling well..” she just nods, seems like she’s agree with it. She’s not going to asked more for that…but asking about himself instead.
“oppa asked me.., how about you….how do you feel today…” Seohee asked him.
“im good…what is you name?? And how old are you??” Kyuhyun found that this girl is interesting entertainment as he’s so bored in hospital. Seohee always got some aegyo without her realize it herself.
“im Choi Seohee, I in my final year in high school..” they both shake and Seohee quickly pull back her hand…and looking out of the window.
“Nice to meet you seohee..erm..can you stop avoiding my eyes contact...are you scared of me??” kyuhyun asked…
“no..im not…” she denied it..and Kyuhyun laugh at her sudden reaction..this girl is really love Kyuhyun..he knew it.
There’s how they become close, although at first Seohee really shy in front kyuhyun but after a few days she feels really comfortable to talk to him. Seohee will go to visit and send a rose to kyuhyun after she finish school hour. Now kyuhyun know Seohee as a cheerful girl not as a shy girl as before. Seohee always give her support to kyuhyun and always accompany him and help him especially when he do his treatment. Don’t know what is their feeling but they really need each other..
