AN: This was the fanfic that i sent for MYKPOP fanfic contest, but i changed a little bit from the original version that i sent for that contest, just a little bit.

A long Wait

Sunye can feel her phone was vibrating in her bag, but she can’t take it out. People are screaming all over them, Wonder Girls who are just back after almost 2 months in US for their World Tour. She smiles and waving for them, so do the other members of Wonder Girls to a group of people called Wonderful. Korea~ we are back..

“They had never change.” Sohee said delighted.

“Im glad that they are waiting for us so patiently” Yoobin said in English, this girl with her sunglass must be in global mood. Sunye just smiled to them and keep quiet at the back. She takes out her phone and saw that she got 3 missed calls and a message.

(3) missed calls from Lee Donghae.

Sunye quite shocked with what she saw, but she maintained her face expression so that no one will notice it.

(1) messange ; Welcome back Sunye, when you got enough rest and free time, let’s grab some food together. – Lee Donghae

‘andwe~ I can’t miss understood him…he must doing it because of we are friends…yeah..we are friends..chingu~’ Sunye falls into a deep thought.

“Sunye ya~ what is it?” Ye eun asked.

“ah?” shocked Sunye showing her shocked on her face.

“Seems like you spacing out just now, deep thought?” Yoobin asked. Sunye quickly shook her head.

‘No this is not the time for them to know~ how should I react? Maybe I should leave this aside first, it’s not like he said a.s.a.p..’ Sunye thought again, she quickly keep her phone in her bag again. She forces herself to stop thinking of it, when the jetlack hits her; she falls asleep easily.

After a few days~ Ilsan, MBC Building

“Sunye~” Sunye heard someone called her from far. Sunye quickly wipe her tears before she turns around and found out who is it..he’s running a bit to her.

“Donghae ssi” Sunye called him in shocked, but she would never forget her 90 degrees bow.

“anyeonghaseyo~” Sunye greeted him. She’s smiling to him beautifully and sincerely, Donghae smiles back to her, ‘she’s pretty as ever’ Donghae thought.

“Ne, anyeonghaseyo.” Donghae replies her.

“You don’t want to hug me?” Donghae asked…

“ei??”

“Im just joking..” Donghae chuckled. But deep in his heart, he really did wish if Sunye greet him in ‘US style’.

"are you crying? you looks like just crying.." Donghae asked her, her eyes are a little red, and her make-up smudged. He's right, she was crying because they mention about her father during the recording just now. She's comb her hair, hiding her eyes from Donghae's eyes, just to tell a lie..she's not good with it..

"nope.."

"what a bad lie...i won't force you to admit it" Donghae said, he understands Sunye situation although he's not sure. He don't want to drag the sad topic along...

“what are you doing here?” Donghae asked. Sunye looks back to Donghae, she don't want to act rudely to a senior. She smiles, that's her power right now, being sad won't change anything, being confident, smiles and be good to everyone...that's how the way she should do!

“just a variety~ with kyunglim unnie..” Sunye answered him.

“Sunbaenim, what are you doing here?” Sunye asked Donghae back, Donghae blushed a bit when Sunye called him sunbaenim, but he hides it with a giggle.

“Music Core~ of course~” Sunye just smiles again and nods.

“it’s great can be promoting for long..” Sunye feels a little regret it for not able to promote 2 Different tears for long, she hopes they will be releasing a repacked album too. There’s sadness in her eyes..

“Don’t say that, Wonder girls goes global…nothing can beat that..” Donghae said..and Sunye smile again. But…they are fall into an awkward silence.

“er…Sunye..do you tried avoiding oppa?” Donghae asked her..

“huh?” O.O

“wh..what did you say~??” Sunye was stuttering, how could he say she’s tried to avoid him? And…OPPA??

“Didn’t I send you messages?” He asked her again, leaving her in speechless situation.

“I sent you message before you leave, i said I’ll supporting you, good luck for your concert..and..im waiting for you~” Sunye looks down embarrassed.

“Maybe you were just busy with the preparations, then when you come back I sent you another one; that I wanna have a meal with you~ ddo, you haven’t replied, it’s almost a week already…” Suddenly Donghae takes out his phone and waving it in front of Sunye..

“I don’t even delete those messages in my phone, you can’t say you didn’t received it…” Donghae jokingly threaten her.

“Do you really hate it? Don’t want to have a meal with me? Jeongmal shireo?” Donghae asked her..

“That’s not it~” Sunye said after a while being silent by herself. She’s feeling guilty for doing that, but she needs sometimes to make up her mind and she was being busy.

“So..would you have a meal with me..?”

“Of course~” Sunye smiles confidently.
“Now..im sure your recording is finished or not you wont be here..”

“ei?? Now??” Sunye showed her hesitant.

“Do you know how hard I tried to catch you? I won’t let you go now..let’s go..” Donghae said and he turns and steps forward. Suddenly he stops and turn back.

“You want me to hold your hand and drag you??” Donghae said in demanding tone. Sunye blushed, she quickly walks to Donghae.

In a fancy korean restaurant~

“Sunye ya~ how is it? It’s delicious?”

“ne, very delicious.!!” Sunye smiles prettily. ‘ah~ she’s very pretty’ Donghae thought about this again. ‘Abeoji, please bless us…give me courage..!!’

“Sunye ya~ oppa…got something to tell you..” Donghae said, he’s already put down his chopstick. Sunye also stopped eating and put down her chopstick, for some reason her heart beating fast..

“I’ll be very straight to the point…”

“My feeling for you, isn’t a act…isn’t a joke, it’s sincere..”

“You heard it with your own ears right? Once I have my eyes on a girl, I will make her my girl...you..you has been picked..Min Sunye!!!”

After 3 days~ Wonder Girls dorm, Sunye’s room.

Sunye lie down on her bed, thinking about what happened last 3 days. She’s still can’t make up her mind…how to handle this situation?? Sunye turn to her left, there’s her laptop beside her, although she’s not following him...but she did stalking his twitter nowadays. She releases a sigh; she turns to the right…open a drawer at the bedside, taking something from the inside. She’s back to her previous position, lying on her back. She lifts up the thing, staring at it..

“You are shining..although you’re not a real diamond.” Sunye mumbled alone as she takes a look at it..

“Sunye ah..i want to borr…” O.O OMG..

“omo..omo..omo..” Sunye shocked, she almost falls on the ground because of that. She sits on her bed..

“What are you doing?? I almost died of shock..” Sunye said, as her left hand rubbing her chest..

“sorry…eh..what with that ring??” Ye eun asked…Sunye tries to hide it when she realized that Ye eun is looking at her suspiciously.

“Don’t try to hide it..i saw it everything, how can I not saw such a big thingy?” Sunye just takes it back from her back. Ye eun comes and sit in front of her.

“nothing..just..”

“hokshi..you are missing him??” Ye eun makes her own assumption. She looks at her face..and rolls her eyes as Sunye refuse to tell the truth.

“OMG.. you even stalking his twitter!!??” Ye eun yelled. Sunye quickly close her mouth using her hand.

“Ye eun ah~ don’t make others know!!” Sunye said..

“Tell me everything!!” Ye eun said with her shining eyes.

“actually…” Sunye starts to tells her everything, from the message that she got before leaving korea, the message that she got once she landed on korea back, the meeting at the MBC building and of course the dinner with Donghae.

“Are you crazy?? Call him now…” Ye eun told her.

“why should i?” Sunye acted like dumb.

“Give him your answer, hey..he’s not bad you know. You are not going to disappoint him right? Remember how excited he was when you picked him last time? He was jumping!!”

“but..”

“Don’t tell me you don’t like him Sunye ya~, that’s would be the most ridiculous excuse!!. Isn’t your attitude now shows that you like him too??” Ye eun continue persuading her.

“Tell me what is it??”

“What would oori sajangnim will say?? I don’t want dating secretly, even if we tried…we must be exposed…he’s really good at this, he’s a monster in knowing secret!!” Sunye spills out her worries.

“Then ask him to wait for you..it’s not a long time anymore!! If he really like you, he will wait for you patiently, trust me..you can use this period of times to test him.”

The next day morning~ Suju’s dorm,living room.

‘I saw your picture on twitter, the one at the starbucks. Wanna have coffee together??’ Donghae reading Sunye message that he got 10 minutes ago..for the 100th times.

“yoohoo!!” He yelled and jumped after realized his eyes were not lying to him.

‘OMG..i can’t believe it..owh wait~ what if, she’s brings some disappointing news?’ Donghae thought..

“andwe!! It’s must be good one. Oori abeoji is blessing me with her right now..” he talked to himself.

“Donghae ya~ who you talked to??” Eunhyuk who are just come asked him.

“Donghae ya~ please keep it low, I need to sleep.. ” Sungmin’s head suddenly pop up from his room with his cute sleepy face.

“ne, arrasseo. cheoseonghabnida hyung..”

“ya~ what is it?” eunhyuk keeps asking Donghae, but he just shook his head and smiles..to be exact...giggles by himself.

“When everything settle..i’ll tell you everything..” Donghae said before tapping on Eunhyuk’s shoulder and leaving Eunhyuk at the living room alone and clueless.

Evening~ Starbucks

“Thank you for coming…” Sunye said when she starts the conversation.

“anio, I should thanks you…thank you for the offer..” Donghae said. He tried to smile to smile to her in a very friendly way, because she looks too nervous. She’s a girl anyway, no matter how popular she is, how many people she met, how confident she is when standing on stage infront of thousand of people; she is just a ordinary girl when she’s infront of a boy that she likes…pounding and nervous.

“erm…” Sunye takes a deep breathe and drink her coffee.

“i..just wanna tell you that I have the answer” Sunye said. Then she looks down, don’t know how to start it..

“so…”

“for now…it’s a no..” Sunye said and she closed her eyes. Donghae almost can’t believe what did he heard. Min Sunye saying a no to him…he’s confident enough that he’s already touched her heart, but it’s a no…

“So you don’t like me…” Donghae said..Sunye shocked, she quickly looks up straight to his face.

“That’s not it…” Sunye rejected. Donghae looks like he’s confuse..

“I like you, I want to call you oppa, I want to get close to you, I want to believe you..but..” Sunye stops…

“but??”

“……….”

“I don’t have courage to do it~” Sunye said it in low voice, she’s very embarrassed for being this way such a coward who didn’t fight for love.

“what are you scared? Sunye ya..i’ll protect you..paparazzi? scandal news?? Your fans leaving you??” Donghae asked…he knows he got a chance, if he can persuade her..

“Sunye ya~ im sure our fans can accept it..if you scared of scandal I’ll announce that you are my girlfriend, if Shindong can propose in thanks to..i also can do something like that..” Donghae continued as Sunye still stays silent.

“Paparazzi, scandal...that are not as scary as JYP..” Sunye finally said what she worries about.

“owh…so it’s Jin Young hyung??” Sunye nods to answer his question.

“I think you still remember that we talked about he said; he asked us to wait..”

“I’ll wait!!!” Donghae cut her…that shocked Sunye..

“I’ll wait for you…you just have to believe me..i’ll wait for you..” Donghae said…

“Why?”

“Because you are worth long wait~” That’s touched Sunye heart so much, she’s got teary eyes.

“How many years??”

“It’s not that long…when he said we have to wait another 2 years, it was a year and half ago..so now..”

“it’s 6 months to go…” Donghae said instead of her. Donghae smiles to her, so do Sunye…

After 6 months~ JYP Building

Donghae is standing in front of JYP building, after 6 months…a very long wait to him. For these 6 months, they only met a few times at music show, messaging…just to keep on track. Donghae wants to makes sure that Sunye won’t change her mind..

“May I know where Min Sunye is?” Donghae asked to a trainee there.

“She’s maybe got vocal training upstairs..”

“gomawo..” DOnghae said and pats his shoulder, he quickly running upstairs till he found the room. He knocks and open the door, there’s Wonder girls and JYP there..shocked..O.O

“Donghae ssi, what are you doing here??” Ye eun asked…but she knows that Donghae comes for Sunye. Donghae walks towards them; Wonder Girls has just finished their vocal training and just about to leave to rest at their dorm. Now Donghae standing in front on Sunye...looking into her eyes..

“Sunye ya~ it’s been 6 months…surpass the 2 years…now would you go out with me?” Donghae asked…JYP is so shocked with what he heard and speechless. Donghae takes magician’s handkerchief, and a rose appeared after a few wave just like in ‘Bonamana’. He offers the red rose to Sunye, Sunye takes it and nod.

The Wonder Girls are cheering for them and impressed with what Donghae did it….so brave and sweet, but JYP looks totally shocked and unsatisfied.

“Hyung, it’s already 2 years..so they can date now. Before you asked them to wait another year, it’s better for me takes her first…mianhaeyo hyung..” Donghae said to JYP, after that he grabs Sunye’s hand and left with her.

Café near JYP building~

“Is it okay? Oppa, you dragged me along the way from company building here...holding hands” Sunye asked…she’s a bit worried about it. She covering her face with her hairs just now and Donghae just wearing a sunglass, she’s pretty sure that they were caught.

“gwaenchana..” Donghae said.

“Now..i can grab you…thanks god, finally..” Donghae said, he’s feels like relief and happy. Finally~

“if I said I want to announce about our relationship now, are you prepared?” Donghae asked her..

“yes, I am…waiting for 6 months is a long period of times, enough for me to make up my mind and be prepared for anything…” Sunye said to him, her eyes looks sparkling when she said that.

“So..let’s meet my mom…” O.O

“oppa...that’s too early!!!” Sunye said in surprise and smack Donghae arms. Donghae just laughs at Sunye’s reaction, ‘she’s cute too’ Donghae thought.

“what was you doing before..vocal training??”

“um..it’s for tomorrow.. ”

“MAMA??”

“yup…”

“oho~ I can’t wait for it, you must be stunning tomorrow” Donghae said interested with MAMA topic.

“what categories are you in?” Donghae asked..

“MV, album, girls group, artist of the year ??..erm..?”

“im sure except for girls group, Oori Super Junior also will be in the same categories..”

“Oppa, what awards you wanted the most?” Sunye asked Donghae.

“Artis of the Year of course..”

“mianhae oppa, I think we will win…” Sunye said…small argument will starts..

“excuse me…Super junior will win, you see how active Super Junior this year??”

“huh!! Lets’ see”

“let’s see…you have to be prepared! If Super Junior win, don’t pass out!!”

MAMA award~

“Mnet Asia Music Award 2010, Artist of the Year…goes to…Super Junior!!!!”

The crowd’s cheering, the fans are jumping and elf waving their sapphire pearl blue lightsticks proudly celebrating the winning. Super Junior stands up and walks to the stage, some of them already in tears. They received their awards again, for their lovely ELF. After a few members speech, it’s times for Donghae…

“First of all, thanks god for this again. My dad in heaven, thanks for blessing us…my beloved mom, and the one we proud the most our fans; ELF. Wonder Girls, Wonderful mianhae..we(Super Junior) won this, MIN SUNYE..Saranghae~!!”
