[FF] Tears - Chapter 2

“come on, lets go home,” key pulled maera. Minho followed them. They walked home.

On their way back, key kept asking minho about what did he saw during the first period in class today that made key been ignored. Minho smiled. “can you believe it? Their opening a futsal match this Saturday. At Incheon indoor stadium. The reward is 200,000 won! Let’s join?”

“wahh that’s a great idea! But who will join our team? We only have 3. you, me, and Taemin. We need another 2,” key looked disappointed. He really want to participate in this game. Especially when it comes to rewards. He wanted to save money for college.

“How about me joining? And Nadia too. She’s good in sports. In her previous school, she was the gold medalist in track games and soccer team,” Maera was making her full of hope face (shimmering eyes). But Key disagree.

Minho widened his eyes. He was surprised to hear such talent from a girl. He never thought Nadia was great in sports. Plus, he never talked to Nadia before. From what he saw, nadia looked too feminine to be good at sports.

“what? Girls? In our team? NO WAY!” key disagree with his younger sister’s idea. He thinks that girl will give nothing but trouble. Suddenly, Maera got herself an idea. “Fine then, we’ll put up our own team. If we win, you have to carry my heavy school bag everyday after school for one month, how’s that?”

Key was speechless by Maera’s deal, but he still accept it, because he thought he will win in the end. Fighting with his little sister seems like a small problem to him.

Minho just smiled and tapped Maera’s shoulder. Ask her to take it easy. But he know that Maera is an unpredictable and determined girl. You may never know what she will do.

Finally they reach home.

Kim’s Residence

Avoiding mom’s question about school, maera quickly when upstairs to her room. Unpack her books and starting to call Nadia to tell the good news.

“sorry, sorry, sorry~” (Nadia’s ringtone,she is a big fan of Super Junior)

“yoboseyo?”

“yoboseyo Nadia shi, I have good news for you. I’ve decided to join the futsal match at incheon stadium this Saturday. Lets put up a team!” Nadia’s eyes were wide open, “are you serious? When can we start training? But we don’t have enough people. Do you have any idea how to find them?”

“How bout we put up a notice in every class at school and ask who wants to join our team? I think it will be a great help,” maera’s idea was brilliant. Although it’s kind of embarrassing but every effort counts. So maera started to type the notice and they will paste it up tomorrow during recess. She tried her best not to think about miss Joori’s punishment tomorrow.

Next morning - School

“Where is my favourite No.26? Yea, today is my 1st lucky day. With you around I can walk freely without carrying books around,” Maera felt like fighting back, but she hold back her grudge and start copying the notes given by ‘Miss Grinch’. (It’s the name that they’ve created specially for Miss Joori because of her weird smile.)

“RINGG!” it was recess. Maera was told to bring all of her classmates notebooks to the office by Miss Joori. Without saying anything, she picked up the notebooks and started walking towards the office. Nadia waited her at the canteen.

Suddenly some of the books fell on the ground. It was too heavy and her hands were getting all sweaty and slippery. She tried to pick up the books but her hand was too full. Suddenly someone came and help her pick up the books. She couldn’t see his face because of the books that she carry was too much. It blocked her view.

“Kamsahamnida,” said maera to the person. “you’re welcome” it’s a person with the same voice who sat with her in the library yesterday.

Maera’s POV

“why does he have the same voice like I heard yesterday at the library? What is he doing here?”

“let me help you with the books,” he took half of the note book and carry it for her. “by the way, my name is jonghyun. What’s yours?” maera was stunned, for the first time she felt so shy with a guy . “m….my name is maera,” she tried to avoid looking at jonghyuns face and start walking to the office, jonghyun followed her.

“why is he following me? Why did he introduce himself without me showing any interest in knowing him? Why does he want to know my name? why? Why~?”

“thanks for your help jonghyun shi,” maera end up with a bow as a sign of appreciation. “it’s my pleasure to help you. And before I forget, here’s your diary or organizer, I’m not sure. You left it in the library yesterday,” maera took it quickly and thank him again. Quickly she walk back to the canteen. Jonghyun just watch her leaving and smile.

“And now he’s having my diary? Who is this guy? Some kind of a stalker? But he’s to nice to be one. Maybe he just wanted to help. OMO~ it’s late, gotta rush, nadia’s waiting for me,”

Maera’s face was red. “why is your face red?” asked Nadia. She never saw maera so nervous before. “are you okay? What happened? Did Miss Grinch spank you? What have she done to you? Tell me,” meara took a deep breath and decided to tell Nadia this evening at the park. “okay then, promise me yea this evening?” nadia was curious. “Yeahh, I promise,”

It’s almost 5minutes until recess ends. Maera and Nadia quickly ran over to classes and paste their notice at the class notice board. Finally it’s Key’s class. Without looking for her brother, maera paste the notice with colourful thumb tacks on the notice board. Just to attract people to read it.

After maera went back to class, Jinki saw the notice and he quickly took maera’s phone number. It was written there in the notice sheet. He looked happy and make sure that no one saw it, especially Key.
